Hiking and equestrian sport in Ardeche

GR = Les Sentiers de Grande Randonnées are marked with white and red lines. They allow you to go through Ardeche and to meet up with border departments or even to cross France as a whole. Rundown-guides of footpaths can be found at bookshops.
Those GR go through Ardèche: GR4, GR 4 F, GR 44, GR 44 A, GR7, GR 42, GR 427, GR 420, GR 420 A, GR 421, GR 3, E. 4.

The land-footpaths are hoop-tours. They are marked with yellow and red lines.
The land-footpaths are : Round the Tanargue, Round the Annonay basin, the Cevenol.

Other footpaths cut accross Ardeche. Hikers' association look after them, they are marked in yellow. Rundown guides of those itineraries can be bought at Tourist Information.
