Apart from the possibilities offered by the Domaine itself, such as walking, swimming, and jogging along the vineyards or through the woods, the area is exeptionaly rich in other sporting and cultural activities.

. To discover : • Flow down the Gorges of the Ardeche (one or two day excursions) either by raft or canoe-kayac. A more relaxing choice is to hire a small craft guided by a professional boatman to take you down the gorge. • Canoeing, speleology, cliff and grotto climbing along the Ardeche valley. • Horseriding, biking, walking and sightseeing in picturesque local villages in the countryside and the plateau of the Cevenne. • Discover the local culture by visiting the numerous museums and exhibitions which include the famous French writer Alphonse Daudet. Chestnuts, silkworms and prehistoric history, all are associated with this area. • The Cave of Chauvet-Pont-d’Arc, discovered at the end of 1994. Its cave paintings date as far back as 30 000 years ago. They are the oldest known cave paintings which makes Vallon-Pont-d’Arc the world capital of prehistoric art.
